About Hannah

Hannah Hellyer is a Sydney-based author, producer and award-winning podcaster who has an established career in children’s publishing and media, and is now focused on writing for adults. Her debut novel, Perfect, is a feminist psychological thriller set in Sydney.

Hannah is a published children’s book author and the creator, host and producer of two successful podcasts. Baby Brain Podcast, an award-winning parenting podcast “for everyday mums, by everyday mums”. Her second podcast, Nana Hannah Bedtime Stories, features original stories written and narrated by Hannah. A Finalist for Best Children’s Podcast in 2024, Nana Hannah has been made into Yoto cards sold internationally.

Hannah has built an engaged online audience of more than 25,000 followers, with her TikTok content attracting over 13 million views.

When she’s not writing, Hannah heads up Operations at Chalk Company, an animation studio she owns with her husband, and spends time with her two children in their rainforest house in Sydney.
